One Southern Indiana announces award finalists

One Southern Indiana announced the finalists for its 20th annual Southern Indiana Business Awards program, which recognizes outstanding business owners and professionals from Clark and Floyd counties.
Awards are presented in five categories and finalists were chosen by a panel of six independent judges from a field of 24 nominees.
The finalists are:
1st Independence Bank Business of the Year,
less than 25 employees:
• Glenn Smith, Callistus Smith Agency Inc.; Jennifer Yennes-Vizhnay, Carpet Corner Inc.; Mike Becht, Audiacom Inc.
Frost Brown Todd Business of the Year, 25 or more employees:
• Holly Hoehn, OB/Gyn Associates of Southern Indiana; Jim Rickard, Your Community Bank; Wayne Estopinal, The Estopinal Group
Sam Day, Kightlinger and Gray Professional of the Year:
• Vaughan Scott, Smith Barney; Carol Dawson, EEO Guidance Inc.; Doug Drake, Personal Counseling Service Inc.
Insight Communications Rising Star, Business less than Five Years Old:
• Denise Orwick and Laura Pfaffenberger, Precision Compounding Pharmacy; Sylvia and David Amos, Sign Makers Etc. LLC; Bob Hubbuch, Tow Zone Trailer and Equipment
Greenebaum Doll and McDonald Economic Impact:
• Pat Houghlin, Hitachi Cable of Indiana Inc.; Shirley Ohta, Eagle Steel Products, Inc.
All nominees and finalists will be featured in a video to be shown during an awards luncheon with the winners being revealed at that time. The luncheon will begin at 11:45 a.m. May 15 at Northside Christian Church, New Albany.
