A 21-year-old Jeffersonville woman pleaded guilty to class B felony aiding an aggravated battery on the day she was set to begin trial.
Kristy L. Johnson had been charged with class D felony pointing a loaded firearm at a person and assisting an aggravated battery, a class B felony.
With the plea agreement, Johnson admitted that she knowingly aided Patrick Fuller and Jeremy Ogan in assaulting and shooting Jeremy D. Schneider.
Schneider, 26, survived being shot one time in the stomach in the rear of his residence at 1743 Culbertson Ave. on Sept. 20, 2007.
Johnson filed a blind plea Monday. That means Circuit Court Judge J. Terrence Cody will decide her sentence. A class B felony carries a possible sentence of six to 20 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
Ogan was charged with class A felony attempted murder. He is scheduled to plead guilty today in Circuit Court.
Fuller pleaded guilty June 12 to class B felony aggravated battery and class C felony battery resulting in bodily injury. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison and five years probation.
