Jeffersonville Main Street asks community to honor veterans at 5K DASH

Jeffersonville Main Street Inc. is hosting the fourth annual D*A*S*H 47130 5K at 9:30 a.m. and Veterans Tribute at 9:15 a.m. Nov. 7, beginning and ending in Warder Park, at the corner of Spring Street and Court Avenue in Jeffersonville.

The event begins in Warder Park with a tribute to veterans, then participants can make their way to Spring Street for the start of the 5K. People participate in the D*A*S*H for various reasons: some are competitive runners, others are there to support their community and some are there to honor a veteran they know by wearing that person's name on their back as they run, walk or roll the 3.1 mile course.
