Clarksville man charged with molestation in Floyd County

A Clarksville man is being charged in Floyd County with two counts of molesting a family member.

A 12-year-old girl told a school counselor June 30 that Jeremy R. Muzyl, 28, had touched her inappropriately in past years, according to a probable cause affidavit.

She said Muzyl forced her to try on lingerie, touched her genitals and forced her to touch his penis.

The incidents allegedly occurred in the summers of 2006 and 2007 in Georgetown.

A warrant was filed for his arrest Sept. 25 in the Floyd County Circuit Court. He is charged with two counts of class C felony child molesting. He could face four to 16 years in prison if convicted.

He is being held in the Floyd County Jail on $100,000 cash only bond pending his first court appearance.
