The interim tag has been removed from R. David Frum’s title at Saint Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown.
The health care facility’s board of directors on Tuesday appointed Frum as president and CEO. He had served as interim leader for four months, a press release says.
“I am pleased to be the new president and CEO and am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that our hospital faces,” Frum said in the release. “I am looking forward to being part of our future success.”
Frum previously served as vice president of the Baptist Healthcare System in Louisville, and before that was a regional vice president for Christus Spohn Health System of Corpus Christi, Texas. He has experience in hospital management, medical staff relations, business development and strategic planning.
Frum received his master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also earned a master’s degree in public administration from Louisiana State University, where he also received a bachelor’s degree.
Saint Catherine is a 96-bed licensed acute care general hospital that is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. It operates a full service emergency department.
