A sincere thank you to city council

The New Albany City Council meeting on March 19 was a good example of our government working for the benefit of it’s citizens. At times the meeting got heated, but mutual respect was restored through solid leadership. I attended in order to speak against an attempt to commercialize an area of Charlestown Road that is correctly zoned as residential. I know that this parcel should and will be developed, but an incomplete PUDD proposal is not the way to do it. The citizens that have attended every meeting concerning this area would gladly support a project that raises the value of the surrounding properties. This idea was not it.

Thank you city council.

— Conrad Storz, New Albany
