NOTE TO CANDIDATES: Questionnaires for contested races are due this month

— If you are running for office in Clark or Floyd counties in 2008, please note that election questionnaires have been mailed this week to your address as provided by the county clerk's office.
We at The Evening News and The Tribune are continuing a long tradition of providing information about candidates for our readership before the election. The questionnaire allows you the opportunity to provide basic biographical information and your thoughts on important issues.
In order to speed up the process, we encourage you to e-mail (preferred) or fax your responses to the addresses listed below. Look for the results to be published in our print editions during the two weeks prior to election day on November 6. They will also appear on our Web site once all candidates’ in a race respond.
