Jeffersonville Police Department: Home for elderly a front for drugs

The Jeffersonville Police Department recently made five arrests after authorities say drugs were being sold out of an assisted-living facility along Chestnut Street.
The department’s Drug Investigation Unit served a search warrant Wednesday at 622 E. Chestnut St., the address of Precious Years Elderly Home, a news release from JPD says. Two elderly persons were found at the location, but there was no mention of their condition in the release, which was received just before publication deadline this morning.
Eight grams of cocaine, and marijuana and controlled substances were recovered, the release says. Five arrests were made relating to drug activity.
They were, with charges:
• Ted T. Taylor, 37, of Jeffersonville, possession of cocaine less than 3 grams with intent to sell; possession of a controlled substance; possession of marijuana less than 30 grams; maintaining a common nuisance.
• Tiffany R. Stuck, 19, of Jeffersonville, same charges as Taylor.
• Walter D. Sutton, 46, of Jeffersonville, possession of cocaine less than 3 grams with intent to sell; maintaining a common nuisance
• Lea E. Vitato, 28, of Jeffersonville, maintaining a common nuisance.
• Roger D. Carroll, 37, of New Albany, resisting law enforcement, visiting a common nuisance, warrant service.
