Two Harrison molesting suspects arrested in unrelated cases

One nabbed in Texas, the other by ISP

STAFF REPORTS

Two men were recently arrested on unrelated charges of child molesting that allegedly occurred in Harrison County, a news release from Indiana State Police Sellersburg Post says.

Lawrence “Ed” Nunley, 40, of Palmyra was arrested by ISP on a warrant for three counts of class A felony child molesting and one count of class C felony child molesting. He was being held at the Harrison County jail Monday awaiting his first court appearance.

Eric W. Laster, 39, of Dickens, Texas, was arrested by the Texas Rangers on Harrison County warrants for two counts of class A felony child molesting and seven counts of class C felony child molesting. He is awaiting extradition from Texas to Indiana, the release says.

The alleged molestings were reported to ISP in April by the Indiana Department of Child Services of Harrison County; one involved a boy and one a girl.

If anyone has further information on the suspects or if they are a victim, call ISP Sellersburg at 800-872-6743.
