Twelve young women will be competing for the title of Floyd County 4-H Queen on Monday night.
The fair will be held Monday through July 12 at the 4-H Fairgrounds, located along Green Valley Road in New Albany.
The winner of the contest will advance to the state 4-H competition.
The pageant will be held on the main stage, behind Newlin Hall, beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Beatrice Bodner is 18 years old. Her parents are Micah and Penny Bodner of Georgetown. A 2008 graduate of Floyd Central High School, Bea will attend Indiana University Southeast in the fall to pursue a degree in dentistry hygiene. Bea loves to sing or dance and in a quiet moment write or read a book. She is being sponsored by Hair Concepts.

Dallyn Brunck is 16 years old. Her parents are Kenny Brunck and Kim DeMarsh of Floyds Knobs. Dallyn will be a junior at Floyd Central. Her desire is to study music. Dallyn likes to sing and dance. She is sponsored by Brunck Graphic Services.
Clarissa Dohogne is 18 years old. Her parents are Ed and Diane Dohogne of New Albany. A 2008 graduate from New Albany High School, Clarissa will attend Western Kentucky University in the fall to pursue a degree in public relations. Her favorite pastime is to dance. Clarissa is sponsored by friends and family.
Emilee Emery is the daughter of Sandra and Robert Pelkey of New Albany and attends New Albany High School. Emilee is active in the youth group at Heartland Church of Nazarene and also plays in the orchestra.She plans to study veterinary medicine at Purdue University.
Emilee Lamb is 17 years old. Her parents are Danny and Roblea Lamb of Greenville. She will be a senior this year at Floyd Central. She would like to one day pursue a career in nursing. She likes to spend time with her animals. Logan’s Lawn Service is her sponsor.
Eryn Lilly is 19 years old. The daughter of Tony and Martha Lilly of Floyds Knobs, she is a sophomore at Indiana University Southeast where she is pursuing a degree in biology and chemistry to become a respiratory therapist. Eryn’s favorite hobby is cooking or making desserts and candy. She is being sponsored by Personal Touch Salon and Barber Shop.
Courtney Merz is 19 years old. Her parents are Corey and Cherie Merz of Floyds Knobs. Courtney is a sophomore at Indiana University where she is pursuing a degree in psychology then hopes to attend dental school to become a pediatric dentist. Her favorite pastime is exercising. Archibald Frozen Desserts is her sponsor.
Nikki Roberts is 16 years old. The daughter of Chris and Jennifer Roberts of Georgetown, she is a sophomore at Floyd Central. Her desire is to one day pursue a career in physical therapy or sports medicine. Nikki’s favorite pastime is to run or participate in a game of soccer or football. Her sponsor is Steve Bush — Floyd County Commissioner.
Amanda Sayers is 17 years old. Her parents are Brian and Karen Sayers of Floyds Knobs. Amanda will be a senior at Floyd Central. Her desire is to one day pursue a career in nursing. Her favorite hobby is dancing. YMCA is her sponsor.
Kelsey Wood is 16 years old. The daughter of David Wood and Julie Kingrey of New Salisbury, she will be a junior this year at North Harrison High School. Kelsey would one day like to pursue a degree in agriculture and education. Her favorite pastime is spending time with her animals. Together Again LLC is sponsoring Kelsey.
