The Lincoln-Murphy Debate

Sean Patrick Murphy, a fourth-grade student from George Rogers Clark Elementary School, talks with Abraham Lincoln portrayer George Buss in Warder Park on Friday. At one point, Murphy asked “Hey, aren’t you dead?” Buss and Tim Connors, who portrays Stephen A. Douglas, met with about 90 students from the Clarksville school and gave a brief sample of their infamous Lincoln-Douglas Debates.
