Rosemary Benton, 72; native of Elizabeth
A memorial service for Rosemary Benton, 72, of Ocala, Fla., will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, at St. Mary’s of the Knobs in Floyds Knobs. She died Monday, April 21, 2008, in Ocala, Fla.
She was born in Elizabeth on July 26, 1935, the daughter of Ben and Mary Didlot Hendricks. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s of the Knobs Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert, of Depauw; two daughters, Mary Benton of Olympia, Wash. and Dorothy Owen, Greenville; a sister, Kathrine Rissler of New Albany; special friend, Marion Thomas Radcliff of Depauw; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Victor; a son, Vernon Myrul Benton and a granddaughter, Ashley Andres.
Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
