Betty Kelly, 83, of Sellersburg

Funeral services for Betty Kelly, 83, of Sellersburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at the Garr Funeral Home, with interment at Sellersburg Cemetery. She died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at University Hospital, Louisville.

She was the former Betty Mosley, a native of Buckhorn, Ky., the daughter of James B. and Amanda Gross Mosley. She had been employed at J.C. Penneys, Clarksville, Hinton Insurance Company, Sellersburg and was a Home Day Care Provider for many years. A member of Sellersburg First Baptist Church, and formerly attended the New Harmony First Baptist Church, Austin. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and past president of the Sellersburg Elementary School P.T.A.

Surviving include two sons, Gary Lee Kelly and wife, Sally, New Albany and Tim T. Kelly and wife, Paula, New Albany; three daughters, Donna Kay Ahlbrand and husband, Tony, Sellersburg, Bonny L. Akers and husband, Jon, Sellersburg and Teresa Lynn Ozdogu and husband, Deniz, New Albany; a brother, Kelse Mosley and wife, Cindy, Buckhorn, Ky.; eight grandchildren, Amanda Ahlbrand, Trevor Ahlbrand, Ben Ahlbrand, Dena Kelly-Brooner, Josh Kelly, Bradley Kelly, Cody Kelly and Cheyenne Kelly; four great-grandchildren: Brynnen, Lennon, MacKennon and Finnien; and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy E. Kelly and a grandson, Travis Kelly.

Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 2 and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
