Katherine Burnside Moreillon, 98, of New Albany

Funeral services for Katherine Burnside Moreillon, 98, of New Albany will be at 6 p.m., Sunday, May 4, at Kraft Funeral Services, Charlestown Road Chapel, with private entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Autumn Woods Healthcare, New Albany.

She was a native of Rabbit Hash, Ky., the widow of Meredith “Mac” Moreillon and was formerly employed at Seagrams Distillery and with the old A&P Grocery Company. She was a volunteer at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services for some 35 years, a member of the “Red Hats”, an active Bridge Club player and member of Saint Mark’s United Church of Christ, New Albany.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary C. McGee and husband, Kenneth, Greenville; daughter-in-law, Dawn V. Moreillon, New Albany; grandchildren, Ken McGee and wife, Rhonda, Floyds Knobs, Chuck McGee and wife, Valerie, Greenville, Chad J. Moreillon and wife, Jennifer, Temple, Texas and Kyle H. Moreillon, New Albany; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Kara, Brian, and Chas McGee, Brandy Bailey and husband, Dale, and Robbie Martin and wife, Sabrina; great-great-grandchildren, Issac and Jamie Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her son, James M. Moreillon.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, May 4.
