Clifford James ‘Jim’ Kingstrom, 71; Army veteran

A memorial service for Clifford James “Jim” Kingstrom, 71, of Jeffersonville, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ. He died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Bumbletown, Mich., was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired airplane mechanic and a world traveler. He was an active man who enjoyed the YMCA and riding his Harley Davidson.

Survivors include two sons, one daughter, two grandsons, two great grandsons, all of California; his dog, Pokie, and many friends in Southern Indiana.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to LifeSpring Foundation.

Scott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
