Betty E. Railey, 94; of New Albany

Funeral services for Betty E. Railey, 94, of New Albany, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 5, at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.

She was a born in Carwood and is a member of St. Johns Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Koranchan and husband, George; a grandson, Todd Hill and wife, Tracy; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Brianna; and two great-great-grandchildren, Trista and Trinity.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Railey, her parents Frank and Craigy Murray, brothers, William, Frank, Gus, Howard, Amos and sisters, Clara, Mary and Odie.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 4.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
