Delbert ‘Sonny’ King, II, 57; of Cape Coral, Fla.
Delbert “Sonny” King, II, 57, of Cape Coral, Fla., died at his home Thursday, April 17, 2008.
He was born in New Albany on Aug. 27, 1950 to Wilma Louise Anderson King and Delbert Lee King. He was a graduate of New Albany High School and worked in sales for most of his life. He loved to tell jokes, laugh and spend quality time with his family and friends. He will be forever missed.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Debra Jean Grubb King, Cape Coral, Fla.; a daughter, Amber P. Graves and her husband, Jim; the pride of his life, a grandson, Peyton Graves, also of Cape Coral, Fla.; his father, Delbert Lee King and sister, Debora Louise Koch of New Albany; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, who will all forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Louise King and a brother, Derrell King.
He was cremated on April 23, 2008 and will be put to Sea at a later date surrounded by family.
