Jimmy “J.D.” Dreher, 74; of New Albany

Funeral services for Jimmy “J.D.” Dreher, 74, of New Albany will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 8, at the Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home, Georgetown, with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery, Edwardsville. He died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.

Survivors include his sister, Judy Dreher Bandy and husband, Roy, Georgetown; brother, Bob Dreher and wife, Joyce, Galena; nieces, Penny Sue Arnold and husband, Damon, and Lissa Lilly and husband, Phil, both of Georgetown; nephews, Rod Dreher and wife, Melinda, Georgetown, and Jason Dreher and wife, Brandi, Edwardsville.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, and after 9 a.m. Thursday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the church of the donors choice or to the Floyd County Animal Shelter.
