Latha F. Burgin Montgomery, 83; of Charlestown

Funeral services for Latha F. Burgin Montgomery, 83, of Charlestown, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 9, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. She died Monday, May 5, 2008, at Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 19, 1924, in Cincinnati.

Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Perry, Charlestown; two sons, Steve Montgomery, Henryville and Mitchell Montgomery, Jeffersonville; a sister, Ann Lucas, Mansfield, Ohio; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Alpha McGayhe Burgin; her husband, Edgar Walker Mongtomery; and a grandson, Stevie Montgomery.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 8 and after 9 a.m. Friday.
