Ruth M. Hooker, 97; former New Washington resident

Graveside services for Ruth M. Hooker, 97, formerly of New Washington, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, at Crown Hill Cemetery, New Washington. She died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in Westerville, Ohio.

She was born on Sept. 15, 1911 in Mt. Olive, Ill. to Camillo and Ada Miller Molinar and graduated from Mt. Olive High School.

Survivors include two sons, Bob Hooker and wife, Elizabeth, Wooster, Ohio and Gene Thomas Hooker, Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren, Mary C. Stockton and husband, Jeffery W. Perkins and Scott H. Hooker and his wife Kathleen; and four great- grandchildren, Charlotte Hooker and Scott, Elizabeth and Henry Perkins.

No visitation will be held. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
