Edith M. Dailey Honeycutt, 82; of New Albany
Funeral services for Edith M. Dailey Honeycutt, 82, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 10, in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at Generations Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany. She died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Providence Retirement Home, New Albany.
She was a retired supervisor of exports with the Census Bureau, a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany. She was born March 19, 1926 in Louisville, to the late Reuel and Anna Margaret Hines Dailey.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Whitler and Regina Honeycutt, both of Jeffersonville; grandson, Jason Whitler; granddaughter, Kelly Whitler Renton and her husband, Luke; and great-granddaughter, Willow Renton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and Charles Dailey; and sister, Marie Paris.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 9.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions in her memory to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or the Make A Wish Foundation.
