Anna Jeanne Himmelheber, 87; of New Albany
A funeral Mass for Anna Jeanne Himmelheber, 87, of New Albany. will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 12, at the Church of Our Lady, 3511 Rudd Ave., Louisville, with burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Friday, May 9, 2008 at her home.
She was the former Anna Jeanne Connell, and a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother; a devout Catholic; a graduate of Presentation Academy, retired from PNC Bank, and a member of the Church of Our Lady.
Survivors include her son, David Himmelheber; daughters, Teresa Straw and husband, Butch, Mary Jean Raizor and husband, Sam, and Rosie Nolot and husband, Kenny; sisters, Mary K. Pottinger and husband, Harold, and Betty Hines; daughter-in-law, Sharon Himmelheber; grandchildren, Tammy Cobb and husband, Mitch, Michael Himmelheber and wife, Janet, Richard Straw and wife, Traci, and Mandy Himmelheber; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Himmelheber, and her son, Theodore Himmelheber.
Visitation at Paul V. Shrader Funeral Home, New Albany, will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 11 and after 9 a.m. Monday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Church of Our Lady, Louisville, or to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
