Donald R. Davidson, 51; of Jeffersonville

Visitation for Donald R. Davidson, 51, of Jeffersonville, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May14, at Coots Funeral Home with cremation to follow. He died Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was native of Jeffersonville and retired from the Jeffersonville Fire Department. He also worked for Jones Construction and was bus monitor for Greater Clark County Schools.

Survivors include his wife, the former Nancy L. Stokes; a son, Kevin R. Davidson, Jeffersonville; a daughter, LeeSa D. Davidson, Jeffersonville; a brother, Malcom Davidson, Jeffersonville; a nephew, Bob Violette Jr., Clarksville.

He was preceded in death by his parents John O. and Emily Davidson; a sister, Ann Violette; and brothers, Homer Davidson and Hall Davidson.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Humane Society.
