Robert John ‘RJ’ Curry 19; of New Albany
Funeral services for Robert John “RJ” Curry, 19, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, May 13, at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Friday, May 9, 2008, at his home.
He was born in New Albany and was a 2007 graduate of New Albany High School where he was an officer in the NJROTC. He was a winner in the 2001 Millenium Dreamer Award and worked at the McDonald’s along State Street. He attended Cornerstone Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Lisa and Scott Curry, New Albany; his biological father, Ronald Sexton, Tennessee; two sisters, Cassandra Curry, Samantha Curry and her daughter, Makenzie, all of New Albany; grandparents, Robert E. and Donna J. Wall, New Albany, Mary Ann Curry, New York, Brenda and Doug McMillan, New Albany, and Earl and Darlene Sexton, Tennessee; and great-grandfather, Jay Anderson, New Albany.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Cleo Anderson.
Visitation at the funeral home was held Monday.
