Lloyd Sam Stucky , 74; of Floyds Knobs
Funeral services for Lloyd Sam Stucky, 74, of Floyds Knobs, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 15, at the Paul F. Kraft Sr. Memorial Chapel of Generations Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany. He died Monday, May 12, 2008, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
He was a machinist for 38 years at American Standard Company. He was a member of Machinists’ Local Union 681 and an avid bass fiddle player and gardener. He was born May 17, 1933 in Columbus to the late Sam and Erby Hollis Stucky.
Survivors include his long-time companion, Judy Libs. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Anne Margaret Stucky; children, Mary Sue Koehler and husband, Chris, New Albany, Steven S. Stucky and wife, Naomi, Jeffersonville, Michael R. Stucky and wife, Jacinta, Borden, Chris J. Stucky and wife, Diane, New Albany, Lori Ann Peters and husband, Troy, Salem, Ill. and Robin E. Jusko and husband, Dennis, Griffin, Ind.; stepdaughters, Debbie L. Scott and her husband, Phillip, Floyds Knobs and Susan L. Cornett, Scottsburg; sisters, Darlene Zenke, Milltown and Gay Davidson, New Albany; 29 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 14.
