Patricia ‘Pat’ Van Wingen, 68; of New Albany
Funeral services for Patricia “Pat” Van Wingen, 68, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1382, New Albany, the Democratic Women’s Club and the Floyd Memorial Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of St. Marks United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, David C. Van Wingen Sr.; a son, David C. Van Wingen Jr. and his wife, Erin, New Albany; a daughter, Tamara Van Wingen, Indianapolis; a sister, Vicky Harmeling, New Albany; and a grandson, Alex Gill.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, May 13.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Floyd County Humane Society.
