Mary K. Anderson

Mary K. Anderson, of New Albany

Funeral services for Mary K. Anderson of New Albany, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville Homes, followed by private burial. She died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in New Albany.

She was a graduate of Shawnee Girls School and of the University of Kentucky. She was retired from Glenmore Distillers and Program Director for the USO. She was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Red Cross Disaster Team and Walnut Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband J.E. Anderson; two sons, Todd Anderson and wife, Shawna, Louisville and Tim Anderson and wife, Michelle, Houston, Texas; a brother, James Etheridge, Louisville; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Deal.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Crusade for Children or the American Red Cross.
