— Elwanda Lorey, 74; Jeffersonville
A funeral Mass for Elwanda Lorey, 74, of Jeffersonville, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at her home.
She was a native of Camp Taylor, Ky., a former resident of Jasper, a former assistant manager of Cloth World in Jeffersonville, a member of Sacred Heart Parish, and the Young at Heart Club.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Lorey, Jr.; two daughters, Diana Willoughby and her husband, Larry, Jeffersonville and Karen Muntz, Clarksville; four sons, Garry Lorey and his wife, Mary Brigid, Louisville, Jeffery Lorey, Jeffersonville, Joe Lorey and his wife, Shelly, Jeffersonville and David Lorey, Jeffersonville; several step-brothers and step-sisters; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 16, 2008, from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, 1840 E. 8th St., Jeffersonville. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the church building fund. Envelopes will be available at the church.
