Susan M. ‘Nenaw’ Fisher Smith, 74; of Jeffersonville
Susan M. “Nenaw” Smith, 74, of Jeffersonville, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was a native of New Middleton, retired from the sewing room at I.C.I. Americas in Charlestown and she attended South Clark Church of Christ.
Survivors include her three sons, Michael D. Smith and wife, Sharon, Jeffersonville, Clinton M. Smith and wife, Debra, Sellersburg, and Jeffery S. Smith and wife, Kelly, Georgetown; daughters, Beverly J. Schaffner and husband, Louis, New Albany, and Carla J. Corley and husband, Michael, Lanesville; brother, Clifford Fisher, Corydon; sisters, Wanda Williamson, New Albany, and Betty Jean Saulman, Corydon; grandchildren, Shannon L. Bline and husband, Danny, Clinton M. Smith Jr. and wife, Ashley, Jessica L. Townsend and husband, Matthew, Kimberlee R. Smith, Christopher D. Smith, and Kelli A. Smith, Brian Tinnell, Laconia; step-grandchildren, Todd Corley, Timothy Corley, Kimberley Baumann, Shelby Sharp, Larry James, Sandra Lindsey, and Tara Harmon; great-grandchildren, Shane, Nathan, Clinton III, and Jaren; step-great-grandchildren, Malory, Davin, Sophia, Jacob, Ethan, Issac, and Lucas; and her loving cat, Ceasar.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Fisher and Lindell Frederick Fisher; brothers, Bud, Ernest, and Bob Fisher; sisters, Doris Link and Ermma Fisher; and granddaughter, Stacy Ann Tinnell.
Per request, there will be no visitation or memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Indiana or the Humane Society.
Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
