Arthur W. Ingle, 81; WWII Army veteran
Funeral services for Arthur W. Ingle, 81, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 17, at Main Street United Methodist Church with burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Wedgewood Health Care, Clarksville.
He was a native of Crawford County. He was retired from Stauffer Chemical Company and Conoco. He was an Army veteran of WWII and a member of the V.F.W. Post 3281. He was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and a former member of the Pythagoras Masonic Lodge 355.
Survivors include his wife, Opal N. Roll Ingle; daughters, Karen S. Brashear and husband, Bill, Jacksonville, Fla., and Kathy A. Jackson and husband, Gary, New Albany; sister, Opal Kaiser, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Heather Vien and husband, Joel, and Rebekah Jackson; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes from 1 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 16 and at the church from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
