— Raymond C. Drake; 79, of Jeffersonville
Funeral services for Raymond C. Drake, 79, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, at Coots Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, with burial in Eastern Cemetery, Jeffersonville. He died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Vevay and a Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his sons, Raymond D. Drake and his wife, Mary, and Ronnie Drake and his wife, Melissa, all of Jeffersonville; daughters, Debra Drake and her husband, Rick, and Linda Griffin and her husband, Bobby, all of Jeffersonville; grandchildren, Ginny Votteler, Jamie Drake, Ryan Drake, Linda Mattingly, Nicholas Mattingly, Kim Drake, Steven Drake, Carrie Drake, Amanda Drake, Jason Hill, Jesse Stevenson, Jordan Votteler, Hunter Votteler, Lakyn Drake and Kiera Steinbergen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Drake.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
