Sylvia Gladys Potts, 90; New Albany resident
Funeral services for Sylvia Gladys Potts, 90, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 7, at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
She was the former Sylvia Gladys Reynolds, a native of White County, Ind., and a lifetime member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Bedan and husband Jim, Palmyra, and Marilyn Seiler and husband Jim, Palmyra; one sister, Edith Whittinghill, New Port Richey, Fla.; 12 grandchildren: Cynthia Weaver and husband Douglas, Darcy Wilson and husband David, Tracy Emery, Robin Sappenfield and husband Mike, Paul Emery and wife Barbara, Theresa Grubbs and husband Charles, Kelly Puckett and husband Phillip, Troy Wolf, Derrick Wolf and wife Charlotte, Kyle Wolf, Larry Wolf and Terry Lyons and husband Mark; 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Clyde Potts.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 6.
