— Anna Mary Nein, 84; of New Albany
A funeral Mass for Anna Mary Nein, 84, of New Albany will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at Autumn Woods Health Campus, New Albany.
She was born in New Albany on March 25, 1924, to the late Sarah C. Capper and Anton J. Kupferer. She was a member of the Hobart Beach Post 1693 Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Bonnie Sloan Post 28 American Legion Auxiliaries, both in New Albany. She was also a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany.
Survivors include her daughter, Victoria Peters and husband, Gary, Louisville; sons, Jay Nein and wife, Linda, Sellersburg, and Michael Nein and wife, Judy, Middletown, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Nein, and her daughter, Dr. Robbyn Nein and a brother, Anthony J. Kupferer.
Visitation will be at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring St., New Albany from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 20 and after 9 a.m. Monday.
