Frances I. Jordan, 74; of Corydon

Memorial services for Frances I. Jordan, 74, of Corydon, will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home, Corydon. She died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.

She was a native of Piney, Va. She was born Dec. 11, 1933, to the late Curtis and Thelma Allison Dunford. She was a retired registered nurse and was a member of the Corydon Presbyterian Church and Tri-Kappa.

Survivors include her sons, Dr. Curtis Jordan and wife, Eve Ann, New Albany, Greg Jordan, Lanesville, and Jay Jordan and wife, Beth, Bardstown, Ky.; brother, Clarence Dunford, Kingsport, Tenn.; and five grandchildren, Jeannie Millis, Susie Pardieu, Katy Jordan, and Miles and Landon Ford.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Richard A. Jordan, and her daughter, Allison Jordan.

Visitation will be at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Saturday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Kosair Children’s Hospital.
