Lucy Ann Klingsmith, 79; of Jeffersonville

Funeral services for Lucy Ann Klingsmith, 79, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Eastern Cemetery. She died Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Harrodsburg, Ky., to the late Bill Lee Lunsford and Nancy Warren Lunsford. She was retired as a dietician for Clark Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her sons, Randell Klingsmith and wife, Rhonda, of Nabb, Daniel Klingsmith and wife, Vickie, of Jeffersonville, and Philip Klingsmith and wife, Jennifer, of Indianapolis; brothers, Marion Lunsford, of Richmond, Ky., David and Taylor Lunsford, both of Harrodsburg, Ky.; sisters, Maxie Lyons and Nancy Rowe, both of Harrodsburg, Ky.; 22 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Klingsmith; sons, Roger D., Donald G., and George Klingsmith; and daughter, Gloria Ann Calhoun.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until time of service Monday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
