Joan F. Deskins, 63; Jeffersonville resident

Funeral services for Joan F. Deskins, 63, of Jeffersonville, will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at the Kraft Funeral Services Charlestown Road Chapel with cremation to follow. She died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

She was a native of Jefferson County, Ky., a former resident of Louisville and a Catholic by faith.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Billy Deskins; daughter, Dana Lopez; grandchildren, David Mathew Lopez and Stephani Lopez; great-granddaughter, Jacy Monet Abbott; brothers, Donald L. Hill and Clifford A. Hill; sisters, Marie Terry, Alice J. Williams, Elizabeth Walters and Patricia Deskins; longtime friend, Quentin Cox; and many cousins, nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her son, Corey Lee Marc; and her sister, Dolores A. Dolt.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
