Dennis L. Tellez, 62; Army veteran

Funeral services for Dennis L. Tellez, 62, of Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany, with burial and military honors to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Friday, Oct. 31, 2008.

He was a native of Merced, Calif., and an industrial engineer for more than 25 years at Clarcor in Louisville. He was an Army veteran and a member of Graceland Baptist Church since 1991. At the church, he was a deacon and choir member.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Regina Tellez; children, Michelle Denise Tellez and Karen Louise Tellez; step-children, Lisa Renae Jewell, Tamara Lea Morgan and Tommy Rogers; sisters, Yolanda Gallardo and Olga Schafer; 13 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his sister Sue Moorehead.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Kraft Funeral Service Charlestown Road Chapel in New Albany, and after 9 a.m. Friday, at Graceland Baptist Church.
