City offices closed Friday, April 10

City of Jeffersonville’s calendar of events, April 10 through April 24, according to a press release from the city.



The following is the calendar of events for the city of Jeffersonville from Friday, April 10 through Friday, April 24.



City of Jeffersonville offices will be closed Friday, April 10 in observance of Good Friday. Friday and Monday sanitation routes will be picked up on Monday, April 13.



Arts and crafts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 13 at the Ken Ellis Center, 1425 Pennsylvania Ave.



The Jeffersonville Historic Preservation Commission meets at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 13 in the Second Floor Conference Room at City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court.



The Jeffersonville Parks Authority meets at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 13 in the Mayor’s Conference Room at City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court.



The Jeffersonville City Hall Building Authority meets at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14 in the Second Floor Conference Room at City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court.



City Pride meets at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14 in the Mayor’s Conference Room at City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court.



Bingo from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14 and Thursday, April 16 at the Ken Ellis Center, 1425 Pennsylvania Ave.



The Jeffersonville Board of Public Works and Safety meets at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15 in the Mayor’s Conference Room at City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court.

Bunco from 12 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 at the Ken Ellis Center, 1425 Pennsylvania Ave.



The Jeffersonville Housing Authority Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 at the Jeffersonville Housing Authority Office, 206 Eastern Blvd.



Beginning sewing class from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 17 at the Ken Ellis Center, 1425 Pennsylvania Ave. Sewing machines are also available for use between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.



Thunder Over Louisville from 3 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 18. The 2009 Thunder Air Show takes place from 3 to 9:30 p.m., with the annual fireworks display from 9:30 to 10 p.m. The viewing area runs the length of Riverside Drive.

The Jeffersonville City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 20 in Room 101 at City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court.

The Jeffersonville Drainage Board meets at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 in the Mayor’s Conference Room at City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court.



The Jeffersonville Board of Public Works and Safety meets at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22 in the Mayor’s Conference Room at City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court.



The Jeffersonville Urban Enterprise Association meets at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22 in the Second Floor Conference Room at City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court.
